Politicians like to concentrate on trivial issues and deliberately ignore those, which would actually help the planet.
The world population is 6,682 million and growing by 91,000 a day.
The UK has twice as many people as its space and resources can sustain yet more flock in and the population will rise to 85 million by 2081.
It is people that cause pollution and CO2 so the billions of pounds we give to Africa and Asia should be linked to birth control.
Ethiopia and the Sudan are prime examples of nations which, critically require birth control to halt the fatal advance of overpopulation and subsequent starvation.
In the UK we should stop immigration since there is a need to build 65,000 houses a year specifically for immigrants. What is "green" about that??
Families are encouraged to have more children by the child benefits and working tax credit systems.
Some sceptics would say that this is buying votes.
The UK only has 2.0 per cent of the world's CO2 emissions but we are told that the UK should lead by example.
Well this "green" government should lead and limit child and working tax credits to two children.
I suggest that the influx of immigrants and migrant workers should be much reduced.
A lower population in the UK would cut CO2 at a fraction of the £100 billion cost of renewable energy.
