"ABOUT US" - a consensus view, by MALCOLM

 We are an informal group of like-minded people, who have come together as the result of becoming known to each other as the writers of regular letters to the press, to express our individual views on the sundry problems that afflict society. Many of these are simply lunacies, and have serious consequences for the future of our once Great Britain; now sadly relegated to mere EU Regional status, but not beyond salvation, if we continue to make our views known to a public that has been serially deceived by successive governments of all colours, and at last is beginning to question the truth of what it is being fed to them.

OK. That gets us going! So here are some of the subjects that concern us. This isn’t going to be a comprehensive or definitive list, because we live in changing circumstances. Neither will everything be down to the last detail. But when you read the words, you will know what we mean, and how we feel.

* EU : The tyranny that controls us at an ever increasing pace and depth. The ruination of our Farming and Fishing industries. The insidious Common Purpose that is training people of influence in our society to ensure that EU legislation is properly implemented at all levels in what is chillingly described as the “post-democratic new era.” Loss of our Sovereignty. An EU Commission so riddled with corruption that auditors have refused to sign-off the accounts for 13 years in succession. £6 billion of a net annual contribution, just to get a fraction of our own money back, with conditions attached. The unbelievable gravy train for MEPs, Commissioners, and their thousands of unelected bureaucrats. Only the MEPs can be voted out. The rest can not, and are immune from prosecution whether in office, or in retirement.

* Immigration : Seemingly uncontrolled and certainly unselective. Why do immigrants head for Britain rather than other EU countries? Our welfare system perhaps. How much immigration can we afford, culturally and financially?

* British Identity : Immigration also means that we indigenous British are faced with the challenge of our nation being submerged by aliens from every corner of the world.
If we examine the demographics, it is clear that within the present century, we will be a minority in our own country.
Birth rates alone will achieve this. Asian women in this country have a birth rate of between 2.9 and 5. British women have a birth rate of just 1.3

* Islam : Not just a religion, but a brutal theocracy. Dedicated to expansion by force. Demanding death for those who either don’t want to join, or who want to leave this culturally famished ideology. Supported, and even funded, via an adherence to Political Correctness, by our own sleepwalking government.

* Banks : How they create money as debt, conjured from nowhere by mere computerised ledger entries. Only 3% of money in circulation is real, in the form of notes and coin. The bank “Magic Debt Money” has enabled consumers to buy things they don’t need, with debt they can’t repay, while house prices have been driven out of reach by extravagant lending of the Magic Money, by private Banks trying to get richer and richer. Government should create and issue all money, and make the private Banks borrow from the Government, at interest, instead of the other way round as at present.

* Minorities : Their exaltation and protection by our Politically Correct society. Be a member of an aggrieved minority and get preferential treatment, plus immunity from criticism, and the power of the Police and the Courts to prosecute those who disagree with you.

* Political Correctness : The unnatural conformity to views and attitudes, designed to give no offence to any person or entity, at whatever cost to reality or common sense.

* Family : How successive governments have legislated, and organised tax regimes against marriage and the family unit. The word “family” is now missing from every political speech or utterance. How being a single mother is a good state-funded business.

* Police : A self referring bureaucracy, closed to outsiders. They decide which crimes to pursue. Police make their statistical targets, thus pleasing the Home Office, by arresting law abiding citizens for trivial offences. Most senior fast-track officers have never been near a crime, and are too busy parading their multicultural and diversity credentials to be bothered about crime in any event.

* Education : The dumbing down of standards, so that even getting your own name and the date correct on an exam paper will gain points. Multiple Choice questions. School leavers barely able to read or write. A British population where 20% of adults are functionally illiterate, and unable to manage their own affairs properly.

* Armed Forces : Socialist disregard for those who go to war for us. MOD typist gets award for Repetitive Strain Injury, greater than family of soldier who dies in action for his country. Aircraft and weapons are becoming out of date or inadequate.

* Bureaucracy : 28% of the working population now depends on the government for a job. Local Authority bureaucracy dictates what goes into a garbage bin, plus any other petty stupidities and notions that can be invented. Government micro-management systems turn essential services into statistical box ticking exercises to prove efficiency, rather than providing the actual services. Final salary Local Authority employee pensions are now simply unaffordable, soaking up money that should be spent on services.

* Democratic Deficit : Political Parties deliver nothing, but promise everything to get elected. Electoral disillusionment has seen General Election turnouts fall from 72% in the 1950s, to about 50% today. Politicians now therefore feel no obligation to deliver to the few who can be bothered to vote.

* Political Gravy Train : Career politicians, most with no experience of business, or financial accountability, and working within a vague expenses and allowances regime, still manage to secure their own financial futures while making a mess of ours. They live on their expenses, bank their entire salaries, and can build property portfolios with tax-payers money. They employ their equally incompetent relatives, frequently to do nothing at all. Would you now trust a politician?
